NORTHEAST DELTA HUMAN SERVICES AUTHORITY MISSION:
Serve as a catalyst for individuals with mental health, developmental disabilities, and addictive disorders to help them realize their full human potential by offering quality, excellent care with greater accessibility.

Northeast Delta Human Services Authority is seeking compassionate, dedicated licensed clinicians for full-time and part-time roles to support behavioral health services and research initiatives across the region. This is an exciting opportunity for professionals who are passionate about improving mental health outcomes through clinical care, community engagement, and evidence-based practices. Clinicians will collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide high-quality services, support program development and implementation, participate in research and data-driven initiatives, and help expand access to care for individuals and families throughout Region 8.  Flexible scheduling options are available for qualified candidates committed to making a meaningful impact in community behavioral health.

Requirements

Possession of a current Louisiana license to practice as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or a Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist (LMFT).

Qualifications

Work as part of a treatment team to provide quality care and reduce the stigma surrounding behavioral health (mental health or substance use) treatment. In adhering to the Integrated Care Model, team members are expected to contribute to overall improvement of the consumer's physiological and psychological wellness of the consumer. The clinician can achieve this goal through the utilization of available community resources and/or referrals to a care manager.  In an out-patient clinic setting, the clinician utilizes specialized skills to provide psychiatric assistance to consumers who have a behavioral health diagnosis. Provide ongoing therapy, including crisis intervention, to individuals and families in one-on-one and/or group treatment. Provide treatment in accordance with the ethical and legal standards set forth by the appropriate professional governing licensing board, LDH, and NEDHSA. 

Plan, prioritize and manage clinical treatment services for complex behavioral health cases. Complete initial biopsychosocial assessments, annual reassessments, ASIs, and all assigned screening tools in accordance to NEDHSA policy. When applicable, obtain prior authorizations needed for behavioral health treatment. Develop and implement treatment plans for consumers receiving services related to a behavioral health diagnosis, in accordance with LDH guidelines. Ongoing consultation with collaterals, family members, integrated care team and prescriber.   

Initiate professional correspondence, following the appropriate chain of command. Attend in-service trainings for staff and complete required trainings, in a timely manner. Assisting with the collection of data for the TOMS and QOC surveys, as assigned. Maintain licensure in accordance with requirements of the appropriate professional licensing governing body. Complete written and electronic records with concurrent documentation. Maintain order and integrity of healthcare records. Perform all duties as assigned to assure smooth operation of services to consumers across the region. Adherence to all standards, rules, regulations, policies and procedures set forth by LDH, NEDHSA, Civil Service and the appropriate professional governing licensing board. Maintain efficiency in Microsoft Office Suite Programs and other computer programs directly related to job duties. Assist with emergency/disaster support activities.
