Requirements

Six years of economic stability social services experience; OR

Six years of full-time work experience in any field plus three years of economic stability social services experience; OR

A bachelor's degree plus three years of economic stability social services experience; OR

An advanced degree in a social sciences field, business, public, or health administration plus two years of economic stability social services experience.

EXPERIENCE SUBSTITUTION:
Every 30 semester hours earned from an accredited college or university will be credited as one year of experience towards the six years of full-time work experience in any field. The maximum substitution allowed is 120 semester hours which substitutes for a maximum of four years of experience in any field.

Job Duties:

·   Supervise Economic Stability Analysts and Specialists, including training staff, resolving employee and client disputes, approving leave, and conducting performance evaluations across assigned units or multiple parishes. 

·   Lead the resolution of complaints and conflicts related to program participation by interviewing complainants, investigating issues, and ensuring timely and appropriate outcomes. 

·   Review staff work and case records to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and completeness in determining eligibility benefits. 

·   Identify error trends through case reviews, develop and implement corrective action plans, and provide targeted training to improve staff performance and program compliance. 

·   Monitor and manage workflow by retrieving assignments from the LITE Unassigned Queue and distributing cases to staff to ensure timely processing. 

·   Interpret policies and provide guidance to staff by maintaining current knowledge of program regulations, collaborating with regional consultants, and delivering ongoing training and professional development.

Compensation: This position is eligible for the following Special Entrance Rates (SER), as well as a Premium Pay of up to $2.00/hr for hours worked based on longevity. 

Economic Stability Supervisor - $24.35 hr / $ 1,948.00 bi-weekly
