Requirements

Six years of economic stability social services experience; OR

Six years of full-time work experience in any field plus three years of economic stability social services experience; OR

A bachelor's degree plus three years of economic stability social services experience; OR

An advanced degree in a social sciences field, business, public, or health administration plus two years of economic stability social services experience.

EXPERIENCE SUBSTITUTION:
Every 30 semester hours earned from an accredited college or university will be credited as one year of experience towards the six years of full-time work experience in any field. The maximum substitution allowed is 120 semester hours which substitutes for a maximum of four years of experience in any field.

Job Duties:

·   Serves as a lead worker for statewide Quality Control activities by analyzing policy audit functions related to Social Services Programs, including the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP). 

·   Reviews completed Quality Control case audits to ensure accuracy and compliance with state and federal laws, regulations, policies, and procedures. 

·   Provides guidance, policy interpretation, and technical assistance to Quality Control reviewers regarding complex program rules and audit requirements. 

·   Assists in the development and coordination of validation processes and program adaptations used in statewide Quality Control reviews and audits. 

·   Maintains audit records, prepares reports and correspondence related to program findings, and provides data to management regarding compliance, non-compliance, and performance outcomes. 

·   Participates in corrective action initiatives, committees, and collaborative forums to identify error trends, improve program performance, and reduce state and federal error rates and fiscal sanctions. 

·  Represents management in meetings and communications with internal staff, state and federal partners, and other stakeholders regarding Quality Control policies, audit findings, and program compliance matters.
