This position serves as the recognized resource for establishing, administering, and analyzing data collection and research to facilitate the Not Guilty by Reason of Insanity (NGRI) Committee’s decision-making regarding discharge, treatment, and monitoring of NGRI patients are in compliance with the Mental Health Code, State Hospital Administration - Community Mental Health Services Program (SHA-CMHSP) contractual obligations, and other legal requirements. This position is the sole person responsible for ensuring proper data collection and research methodologies are in place to facilitate efficient analysis of provision of services, treatment and service outcomes, and adherence to NGRI court work and paperwork requirements to help guide risk management and decision making for the NGRI Committee. This position serves as the primary individual instrumental in the development and implementation of data collection and analysis methods for the effective monitoring of services for the NGRI population to respond to changing service demands, department policy, and legal requirements. Will provide reports, summaries, data trends and relevant research to the Committee which will be used to direct, develop, and support education, training, and outreach initiatives to service providers.

Requirements

Education
Possession of a bachelor's degree in any major.

Experience
Three years of professional experience, including one year of experience equivalent to the experienced (P11) level in state service.

Qualifications

Departmental Analyst 12 
Educational level typically acquired through completion of high school and the equivalent of at least two years of full-time active-duty experience at or above the E-6 level in the uniformed services may be substituted for the education requirement.
