Requirements

The Work Unit: 

The Office of Operations provides support for the business operations of CDPHE, including oversight of department-wide and business-focused technology functions, occupancy of leased space, budget and financial operations, and legal and regulatory compliance.

What You Will Do: 

The Business Technology Liaison provides internal technical support and is the primary connection between the division, other CDPHE divisions, and the Governor’s Office of Information Technology. This work helps ensure the division and department gets the best possible technology, software, support and service from OIT. This role acts as a secondary BTL in the division.

Minimum Qualifications:

Experience Only

One (1) year of relevant professional public sector experience providing technology support or serving as a liaison between business/program staff and information technology (IT) professionals


Or


Education and Experience
A combination of related education in business application technology, applied information technology, computer information systems, information technology, or business administration with an IT system focus  and/or professional public sector experience providing technology support or serving as a liaison between business/program staff and information technology (IT) professionals equal to one (1) year

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

In addition to the minimum requirements, the successful candidate in this position will have the following highly desirable experience and competencies:  


  1. Experience working under a central IT support model

  2. State government technology experience

  3. Experience working in a complex organization with multiple competing priorities

  4. Demonstrated cross-functional collaboration, proven relationship-building and stakeholder management 

  5. A diplomatic communicator capable of building consensus among diverse groups and leadership styles 


CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT:
