Requirements

Three years of experience in administrative services; OR

Six years of full-time work experience in any field; OR

A bachelor's degree.

EXPERIENCE SUBSTITUTION:
Every 30 semester hours earned from an accredited college or university will be credited as one year of experience towards the six years of full-time work experience in any field. The maximum substitution allowed is 120 semester hours which substitutes for a maximum of four years of experience in any field.

  • Processes and manages licensing and certification activities for long-term and non-long-term care programs within the Health Standards Section. 

  • Reviews and processes monthly renewals, key personnel changes, bed and capacity changes, facility licenses, correspondence, and initial and renewal licensing and certification packets. 

  • Maintains accurate licensing and certification records, logs, and databases, ensuring all actions and facility information are properly documented and tracked. 

  • Serves as the primary point of contact for program providers, responding to inquiries and providing guidance regarding licensing and certification requirements and procedures. 

  • Reviews and verifies required documentation from digital and physical sources to ensure compliance with applicable state and federal laws, regulations, policies, guidelines, and established timelines. 

  • Prioritizes and manages multiple administrative tasks while maintaining accuracy, meeting deadlines, and ensuring licensing and certification processes are completed efficiently. 

  • Provides administrative support for program operations, including responding to correspondence, maintaining files, entering data, and billing and collecting applicable fees.
