Requirements

Three years of experience in administrative services.

EXPERIENCE SUBSTITUTION:
Every 15 semester hours earned from an accredited college or university will be credited as six months of experience.

• Sorts, processes, images, files, and archives incoming documents and mail by document type to ensure timely and accurate record management.

• Receives, classifies, and routes electronic and hard copy documents to appropriate member accounts and individual case files.

• Prepares and sends outbound correspondence requesting confidential information while maintaining strict confidentiality and accuracy standards.

• Operates and maintains office equipment including scanners, electronic letter openers, fax machines, copiers, printers, and other computer hardware.

• Communicates professionally and effectively with coworkers, management, and other LDH staff to support daily operations and customer service needs.

• Participates in Medicaid policy training, quality improvement initiatives, outreach activities, and emergency preparedness or response efforts as assigned.

• Assists with special projects, provides technical support within the CPU/CSU department, and performs additional administrative and operational duties as needed.
