Be the first point of connection for individuals and families seeking vital support services in your community. In this fast-paced, service-driven role, you’ll guide clients through benefit applications, assist those with limited computer experience, and help ensure access to programs like SNAP, FITAP, and more. You’ll also play a critical role behind the scenes by supporting office operations and maintaining essential records. Requirements

Two years of experience in administrative services.

EXPERIENCE SUBSTITUTION:
Every 15 semester hours earned from an accredited college or university will be credited as six months of experience.

Job Duties:

·   Serves as the primary point of contact by greeting clients, answering phones, and assisting customers with accessing services and completing applications for SNAP, FITAP, KINSHIP, and LACAP 

·   Provides hands-on support to clients using kiosk systems and computers, including assisting individuals with limited computer skills to successfully submit applications 

·   Utilizes multiple complex systems (LITE, PSIFUSION, ONBASE, INMAR) to process requests such as address updates, benefit verifications, and issuance or replacement of EBT cards 

·   Maintains program knowledge to identify eligibility for expedited services (SNAPX) and offers voter registration assistance in accordance with policy 

·   Performs clerical duties including receiving, scanning, and indexing incoming mail and faxes, and preparing outgoing correspondence for distribution 

·   Participates in ongoing training and professional development to maintain knowledge of program policies, compliance requirements, and disaster response protocols 

·  Supports disaster response efforts by assisting with Disaster Food Stamp Program operations, interviewing applicants, registering evacuees, coordinating shelter support, and utilizing systems to track and deliver benefits
