This position plays a key role in ensuring the smooth daily operations of executive-level staff by coordinating meetings, managing communications, supporting personnel activities, and handling travel logistics for leadership teams. Requirements

Four years of experience in administrative services.

EXPERIENCE SUBSTITUTION:
Every 15 semester hours earned from an accredited college or university will be credited as six months of experience.

  • Assists Medicaid Deputy Directors, Section Chiefs, and other higher-level staff with a variety of administrative matters Monitors phone calls and visitors.
  • Coordinates telephone conference calls, conference meetings and/or workshops chaired by the Medicaid Deputy Directors and/or higher staff.
  • Ensures assigned primary, secondary, and unit manager time administrator duties are performed in accordance with applicable procedures and policies serves as a personnel liaison for their section(s).
  • Prepares travel documents and authorizations or travel expense accounts, makes travel arrangements with hotel, travel agency, car rental agencies and interprets travel regulations.
