The mission of Pinecrest Supports and Services Center is to support people with intellectual and developmental disabilities to reach treatment goals and to return to more integrated community living settings. Pinecrest Supports and Services Center specializes in the treatment of people with comorbid intellectual and developmental disabilities and complex medical, behavioral, and psychiatric support needs.

Pinecrest Supports & Services Center is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Training and Development Specialist 1-2-3 to join our dynamic healthcare team.

Requirements

Three years of experience in planning, developing, delivering, or evaluating training programs or academic instruction; human resources, or administrative services; OR

Six years of full-time experience in any field; OR

A bachelor's degree.

EXPERIENCE SUBSTITUTION:
Every 30 semester hours earned from an accredited college or university will be credited as one year of experience towards the six years of full-time work experience in any field. The maximum substitution allowed is 120 semester hours which substitutes for a maximum of four years of experience in any field.

Job Duties:

  • Coordinate and implement training initiatives.
  • Implement scheduling and tracking in accordance with departmental procedure.
  • Collaborate with Residential Services supervisors and other departmental supervisors to facilitate an efficient and effective assessment of employees in their teams and within identified timeframes.
  • Monitor progress for completion of training initiative to ensure completion within identified timeframes.
  • Collaborate with Information Technology staff to extract data from the assessment process.
  • Analyze data and prepare reports for stakeholders as defined in the tracking system.
  • Monitor completion of training initiatives.
  • Analyze data tracked and training initiative collected to formulate and make recommendations to the Training and Development Program Staff Manager 1.


Position-Specific Details:

Position is located with PINECREST SUPPORTS & SERVICES CENTER.

Location: Training and Development

SHIFT: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM PASS DAYS: Saturday / Sunday

Appointment Type: This position may be filled by probation, promotion, demotion, lateral transfer, detail to special duty, or job appointment. Preference may be given to employees of Pinecrest Supports and Services Center.

Career Progression: Training and Development Specialist 1-2-3

Compensation: (Depends on Qualifications)

  • Training and Development Specialist 1:  $$16.86 Hourly - $33.08 Hourly
  • Training and Development Specialist 2:  $$18.04 Hourly - $35.40 Hourly
  • Training and Development Specialist 3:  $$20.65 Hourly - $40.53 Hourly
