Why does the job exist?

 
This position exists to ensure accurate, efficient and timely management of inventory. This role supports operational by maintaining up-to-date stock records, ensuring materials are available and minimize discrepancies. The position also serves as a key liaison between inventory control and financial processing.

How does it get done?

 
-Maintain accurate inventory records by utilizing assigned programming  Enter inventory data into system in a timely manner 
-Monitor stock levels and report shortages to Supervisor 
-Organize and store inventory 
-Conduct routine inventory audits and reconcile physical counts 
-Assist in processing damaged goods and adjustments

NMBHI staff, residents, patients, and clients

Ideal Candidate

 
Ideal candidate would be detailed oriented, organized, and reliable. Proficient with data entry and comfortable working with electronic inventory system to maintain real-time records. Ability to communicate effectively and collaborate well with different divisions within the organization.

Minimum Qualification

 
Six (6) months of experience in shipping and/or receiving.

Employment Requirements

 
Must possess a valid Driver's License

Must obtain a Defensive Driving Certificate

1.SAFETY SENSITIVE POSITIONS--This position ls designated as safely sensitive. Employment Is subject to pre-employment and random testing. In accordance with all terms and conditions of federal and state law, rules, and regulations in relation to alcohol and/or drug testing. Employment ls subject to nationwide criminal background checks and is conditional pending results.
2.CRIMINAL RECORDS BACKGROUND CHECK-Must successfully complete post offer pre-employment criminal records background check. Employment is conditional pending the results of criminal records background checks. Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license. Successful completion of the Health Insurance Portability & Accountability Act (HIPAA).

Working Conditions

 
This position is performed in an office setting with desk work and prolonged computer monitor exposure during the day.
