Your Specific Responsibilities:

Lead billing clerk and responsible for all dental superbills at Yulee Dental, Hilliard Dental, and school-based preventive programs.

Ensure the client’s insurance has been verified and client is eligible for services, and the insurance information is imputed in HMS, correct billing codes have been posted and billed for in HMS.

Responsible for assisting in researching causes of denied claims from Third Party insurances.

Responsible for collecting and receipting of all established fees collected from the dental clinics and mailing out statements when necessary.

Responsible for registering clients in HMS and Dentrix and pulling the appropriate records, prepare the necessary forms for the clinics. Scanning client records into electronic oral health records.

Responsible for the ordering of all office and housekeeping supplies for dental program.

Answering phones, making appointments when needed. Type other general and routine correspondence and documents.

Qualifications:

Minimum:

  • Valid driver’s license
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent 
  • Knowledge of clerical administration
  • Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite
  • Must be able to bend, squat, or stand for prolonged time, and lift items up to 50 pounds
  • Multitask in a high paced clinic

Preferred:

  • 2 years’ experience in a dental clerical position
  • Bi-lingual in English and Spanish
  • Proficient with Eaglesoft or Dentrix
  • Knowledge of dental insurance and billing
