RESIDENTIAL SERVICES SPECIALIST 3


We’re looking for a Residential Services Specialist 3 to join our dedicated team at Central Louisiana Supports and Services Center (CLSSC)—a facility committed to providing active treatment and healthcare services to individuals with intellectual, developmental, and orthopedic disabilities in the least restrictive environment.

Requirements

Two years of training or experience in providing behavioral health or developmentally disabled services or psychiatric patient care; OR

Twenty-four semester hours in education, psychology, counseling, social work, sociology, child guidance or nursing.

Job Duties:

  • Assist the individuals who work at the Canteen and Café

  • Assist co-workers in the planning of activities for the individuals that work there

  • Maintain sanitation and storage of all items, including food and chemicals

  • Order and prepare supplies for the ongoing operation of the Canteen and Café

  • Assist Habilitation Instructor in the implementation of program activities

  • Assume responsibility of afternoon program class in the instructor’s absence

Position-Specific Details:

Appointment Type: Probation, Promotion, Demotion, or Lateral Transfer. Preference may be given to permanent classified employees of the Central Louisiana Supports and Services Center.

Work Schedule: Will be required to work 8 hour shifts.

Compensation:  Special Entrance Rate(SER): Residential Services Specialist 3  $1,190.80
In addition, this position has the following premium pays:

Longevity (for actual hours worked):
$1.00 - 0 months to less than 6 months
$1.50 - 6 months to less than 3 years
$2.00 - 3 years to less than 5 years
$2.50 - 5 years or greater

 Shift Differential (for actual hours worked):
$0.90 - 2nd shift evenings 2 pm-10:30 pm 
$0.50 - 3rd shift nights 10 pm-6:30 am
$0.50 - All shifts weekend/Holidays

Market Conditions (for actual hours worked):
$1.50
