As a Program Manager, you’ll lead high-impact initiatives—expanding access to community-based care, reducing unnecessary institutional placements, and supporting individuals with serious mental illness in living more independent, fulfilling lives. Requirements

Seven years of experience in developing, managing, or evaluating health or social service programs; or in public health, public relations, social services, health services, health regulation, or administrative services; OR

Six years of full-time work experience in any field plus four years of experience in developing, managing, or evaluating health or social service programs; or in public health, public relations, social services, health services, health regulation, or administrative services; OR

A bachelor’s degree plus four years of experience in developing, managing, or evaluating health or social service programs; or in public health, public relations, social services, health services, health regulation, or administrative services; OR

An advanced degree or a Juris Doctorate plus three years of experience in developing, managing, or evaluating health or social service programs; or in public health, public relations, social services, health services, health regulation, or administrative services.

EXPERIENCE SUBSTITUTION:
Every 30 semester hours earned from an accredited college or university will be credited as one year of experience towards the six years of full-time work experience in any field. The maximum substitution allowed is 120 semester hours which substitutes for a maximum of four years of experience in any field.

  • Develop and implement comprehensive quality assurance systems to ensure individuals receive safe, effective behavioral health services in the most integrated, community-based settings possible 
  • Design and oversee data collection, validation, and reporting processes to meet Department of Justice requirements, including monitoring quality outcomes and critical incidents 
  • Analyze data and performance reports to identify trends, address compliance issues, and drive continuous quality improvement across providers and managed care plans 
  • Create and conduct quality reviews, audits, and monitoring activities (including onsite visits) to ensure adherence to contractual and regulatory standards 
  • Lead the development and execution of quality improvement plans, tracking outcomes and adjusting strategies to improve service delivery and client outcomes 
  • Coordinate cross-functional efforts and serve as a liaison with internal divisions, external partners, and statewide stakeholders to ensure alignment and timely completion of initiatives 
  • Manage DOJ-related projects by facilitating meetings, tracking progress, preparing reports and documentation, and presenting findings to leadership and quality committees
