This position is located at District 1-1, Northwest Georgia Public Health in Rome, Georgia.  This position is an unclassified, full-time position working 40 hours per week.  Please complete your online application with current and previous employment details and duties.

Requirements

Under general supervision, plans, coordinates, organizes and assesses the development and implementation of a functional program including program evaluation, and program management. Oversees, develops, and implements policy, procedures and processes. Analyzes complex and comprehensive research.

This Program Consultant will support public health by analyzing programmatic and community level data and develop data visualizations.  These visualizations products will be utilized to increase the usefulness and value of public health data.

Qualifications

High school diploma/GED and one (1) year of experience required at the lower level Prgm Consultant 1 (GSP090) 
or 
Any other combination of education and professional experience that provides the requisite knowledge, skills and abilities to successfully perform the job.

Preferred Qualifications:
Past work experience in data focused roles; Familiarity  with best practices in web and digital content; experience with data files; Microsoft Excel, SQL Server, Adobe Photoshop, Canva Pro, etc.; Excellent oral and written communication skills.

The DPH Commissioner and agency leaders encourage all employees to engage in regular wellness activities and to make lifestyle choices that promote health and well-being. 

The use of physical activity breaks during the workday is authorized to support this philosophy and help employees meet their wellness goals. A maximum of 30 minutes of physical activity may be allocated per workday, typically in the form of two 15-minute breaks or one 30-minute break.

Employment Information

CBH accepts educational credential recognized by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA) and/or the US Department of Education (DOE) will be considered. CBH may contact educational institutions to verify degree, diploma, licensure, etc.
  
 The District Human Resource Department must receive an official transcript and/or proof of licenses, certifications prior to employment.
  
 The candidate selected for this position may be subject to pre-employment drug screening, E-Verify, reference check and a criminal background check.
