PH LPN - Wellness

The Coffee Wellness Clinic is seeking a highly qualified candidate to fill the full-time, salaried position of PH LPN based in Douglas, GA.

Requirements

Under supervision, handles all medical referrals and performs laboratory duties, including drawing blood and processing specimens as needed. May also provide front office coverage to support clinic operations. Delivers nursing services at a Ryan White center dedicated to supporting individuals with HIV/AIDS and their families. Performs laboratory tasks, including specimen collection, preparation, and shipping. Conducts patient assessments, administers immunizations, and promptly reports any adverse drug reactions. Manages inventory of clinical supplies and medications for the clinic and ensures proper vaccine storage and handling. Responsible for cleaning and restocking exam rooms and laboratory areas. Conducts emergency drills and performs routine quality checks on equipment, medications, immunizations, nutritional supplements, and testing supplies.

Qualifications

Vocational/Technical degree in licensed practical nursing from an accredited college AND current Georgia license to practice as a Licensed Practical Nurse AND CPR certification AND completion of all necessary orientation and training for Public Health LPN. 
 
Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in a public health or clinical setting is preferred. Experience with phlebotomy, immunization administration, and vaccine storage and handling is desirable. Knowledge of HIV/AIDS care and experience with medical referrals and care coordination are preferred. Familiarity with electronic health records, inventory management, and the ability to provide front office support as needed are beneficial. Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary healthcare team and provide quality customer service to diverse populations is preferred.
