This posting will be used for on-going recruitment and will remain open until filled. Applicant lists may be screened more than once. New Mexico Rehabilitation Center (NMRC) is a Joint Commission accredited specialty hospital providing rehabilitation services to citizens of the State of New Mexico.

Preference will be given to candidates with any license related to this position, a minimum of LMSW or LADAC.

Ensure the Chemical Dependency Program services are provided in accordance with Federal, State, Department of Health, and accreditation policies and procedures, standards, regulations, and laws and always working within the guidelines of 42 CFR and HIPAA.

How does it get done?

 
Administratively direct and supervise the daily operations and resolve issues related to the Chemical Dependency. Ensure an optimal environment of quality care, quality of life, comfort and safety for the patients and staff. Ensure the Chemical Dependency Program services are provided in accordance with Federal, State, Department of Health, and accreditation policies and procedures, standards, regulations, and laws and always working within the guidelines of 42 CFR and HIPAA.

Who are the customers?

 
Individuals with mental, emotional and substance abuse problems seeking treatment at NMRC.

Ideal Candidate

 
Licensed in New Mexico as an LISW, LCSW, LMFT, LPCC, or LPAT and five (5) years of experience in behavioral health, and one (1) year of supervisory experience as it pertains to the essential duties and responsibilities. Experience conducting Educational Sessions and completing electronic medical records timely.

Minimum Qualification

 
Licensure in New Mexico as an LISW, LCSW, LMFT, LPCC, or LPAT and three (3) years of experience as it pertains to the essential duties and responsibilities of the classification. Any combination of education from an accredited college or university in a related field above licensure requirements and/or direct experience in this occupation totaling three (3) years may substitute for the required experience.

Employment Requirements

 
his position is designated a safety sensitive. Employment requires successful completion of criminal background and is conditional pending results. Employment is subject to preemployment and random testing, in accordance with all terms and conditions of federal and state law, rules and regulations in relation to alcohol and/or drug testing.

Working Conditions

 
This position will perform work in a rehabilitation center and in an office setting with exposure to Visual/Video Display Terminal (VDT) and extensive personal computer and phone usage. Lifting up to fifty (50) pounds may be required.
