Requirements
PREFERENCES/**AGENCY REQUIREMENTS:
**The position requires a Wyoming State Board of Nursing Advanced Practice Registered Nurse license (APRN) with prescriptive authority and Wyoming State Board of Pharmacy certification.
KNOWLEDGE:
- Knowledge of medicine and/or nursing including pediatric, obstetrical, gynecological, surgical, and /or emergency outpatient medical care.
- Knowledge of prescription and non-prescription medications.
- Knowledge of diagnostic laboratory and radiological tests.
- Knowledge of quality assurance methods and techniques.
- Knowledge of Public Health initiatives and outcomes.
- Knowledge of evidence-based medicine.
- Knowledge of current state and federal regulations related to the profession and governing regulations for an Intermediate Care Facility (ICF) and Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF).
- Skills in computer usage and use of electronic health records.
- Ability to work with and around WLRC residents, including those who may display challenging behaviors.
- Ability to maintain current provider cards in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advance Cardiac Life Support (ACLS).
- Skills in written and oral communication, including the ability to communicate effectively and positively with residents, staff, families, guardians, and the public.

PHYSICAL WORKING CONDITIONS:
- Ability to bend, lift, twist, pull, push, etc. as would be expected to provide patient care and treatment in clinic and hospital settings.
- Ability to work directly with residents who display aggressive and challenging behaviors.
NOTES:
- FLSA: Exempt
- This is an At-Will position.
- The Wyoming Life Resource Center participates in E-Verify. We will provide the Social Security Administration, and if necessary, the Department of Homeland Security, with information from each new employee's Form I-9 to confirm work authorization. - A background check, including the taking of fingerprints, will be completed through the Wyoming Department of Criminal Investigation, Department of Family Services, and the F.B.I. for every successful applicant.
