Requirements

Three years of social services experience; OR

Six years of full-time experience in any field; OR

A bachelor's degree.

EXPERIENCE SUBSTITUTION:
Every 30 semester hours earned from an accredited college or university will be credited as one year of experience towards the six years of full-time work experience in any field. The maximum substitution allowed is 120 semester hours which substitutes for a maximum of four years of experience in any field.

·  Acquire and maintain comprehensive knowledge of Medicaid policies, procedures, and eligibility requirements

·  Determine Medicaid eligibility for applicants and members accurately and in a timely manner using established tools and systems

·  Assist members through multiple channels, including phone, in-person, email, and electronic submissions

·  Receive, review, and process applications submitted by mail, email, online portals, or in person

·  Utilize web-based programs and electronic systems to manage and update member information and eligibility status

·  Provide excellent customer service, answering questions and guiding members through the application and eligibility process

·  Perform routine eligibility activities independently while meeting deadlines and maintaining attention to detail

·  Work efficiently in a combination of sedentary computer-based tasks and high-volume call center interactions

·  Collaborate with team members to ensure consistent and accurate application processing and support

· Support professional development and career growth by mastering Medicaid eligibility policies and procedures

Compensation: This position is eligible for the following Special Entrance Rates (SER), as well as a Premium Pay of up to $2.00/hr for hours worked based on longevity. 

Medicaid Analyst 1 - $16.42 hr / $1,313.60 bi-weekly
Medicaid Analyst 2 - $17.56 hr / $1,404.80 bi-weekly
