Licensed Clinical Therapist-Utah State Hospital
The Utah State Hospital is seeking two motivated, compassionate Clinical Therapist to join our team on the Cedar Adolescent Girls Unit and the Pediatric Maple Unit. At the Utah State Hospital we work with mentally ill individuals of all ages, with various diagnoses and a wide range of severity. Our goal is to improve our patients overall quality of life and in many cases, facilitate integration into their families and community.
Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and assess the needs of patients.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
- Conduct individual, family, and group therapy sessions.
- Write therapeutic assessments.
- Coordinate with the unit treatment team regarding treatment.
- Case management duties for patients.
- Licensed in the State of Utah as one of the following: CSW, ACMHC,LCSW, CMHC, or LMFT.
The Preferred Candidate:
- Empathetic and passionate about working with mentally ill patients.
- Experience creating social history profiles.
- Proficient in conducting productive therapeutic group sessions.
