DIVISION/DEPARTMENT: Clinical Services
SALARY INFORMATION:  $25.00 Hourly / Pay Grade TPW / Job Code T7001

Requirements

Under general supervision, gathers, analyzes and monitors data regarding communicable diseases within a health district. Ensures implementation of timely disease intervention strategies to decrease the prevalence of such diseases. Performs reporting and surveillance activities as well as conduct data collection and analysis. Prepares documentation of all communicable disease case investigations occurring within the district.

Qualifications

Associate's degree in medical and preventative services from an accredited college or university AND Two years of experience in a related area.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:  In addition to the minimum qualifications, applicant must possess a strong knowledge of HIV/AIDS and STD’s.  Experience in conducting outreach and disease intervention. Completions of ISTDI and or ASTDI and Pass Port Case Management skills and Phlebotomy are a plus.NOTE:  Thank you for your interest in DKPH.
