Why does the job exist?

 
This position provides Human Resource services which include compensation and classification and labor relations to the Turquoise Lodge Hospital staff.

How does it get done?

 
The position is responsible for all areas relating to discipline, labor and employee relations, compensation, classification, benefits, recruitment, selection, workers compensation, and payroll for approximately 96 employees.  This position is responsible for communicating significant HR related issues to all departments, tracking HR data required for Joint Commission accreditation standards, and HR data entry for DOH HR data bases.

Who are the customers?

 
Adults who present with substance misuse and co-occurring disorders and staff of Turquoise Lodge Hospital.

Ideal Candidate

 
Will have:

Experience using the HCM SHARE
Experience processing disciplinary actions
Experience processing personnel and compensation action requests
Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality
Experience using KRONO's timekeeping system
Ability to effectively communicate to staff in various departments

Minimum Qualification

 
Bachelor's Degree in any field and two (2) years of experience in human resource operations; recruitment, selection, payroll, compensation and benefits administration, labor relations, investigations, HR related training experience, and/or occupational analysis. Any combination of education from an accredited college or university and/or direct experience in this occupation totaling six (6) years may substitute for the required education and experience.

Employment Requirements

 
Must possess and maintain a valid Driver's License.

Working Conditions

 
Work is performed in an office setting, long hours of sitting and extreme computer use required, working in a very high stress level environment, must be able to lift/move a minimum of 25 lbs.
