Main Purpose of Job

This position is a strategic advisor and operational partner to the Hospital CEO and senior leadership team. This position ensures high-priority initiatives move forward effectively by streamlining communication, supporting cross-functional coordination, and driving accountability. This position is instrumental in advancing regulatory readiness, workforce planning, safety initiatives, infrastructure modernization, and culture change. This position evaluates, analyzes and researches health care data to support hospital programs, operational services, and policy development. This position generates reports to summarize findings, make decisions and recommendations to hospital leadership and stakeholders and develop project initiatives that are data-driven, cost effective and compliant with regulatory standards. This position will be responsible for aligning strategy with execution, leading cross-functional projects, managing executive calendars, preparing for meetings, synthesizing information for decision-making, and serving as a liaison between departments and stakeholders. This position encompasses a broad spectrum of responsibilities crucial for organizational success. A core function involves meticulously aligning strategic initiatives with their practical execution, ensuring that high-level objectives translate into tangible outcomes. This requires a keen understanding of both organizational vision and operational realities. This role will also oversee complex cross-functional projects. This includes defining project scope, establishing timelines, allocating resources effectively, mitigating risks, and driving projects to successful completion through collaboration with diverse teams.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Education: Graduation from an accredited high school or possession of a high school equivalency certificate. Experience: Four years of administrative staff or professional work. Notes: 1. Candidates may substitute 30 college credit hours from an accredited college or university for each year up to four years of the required experience. 2. Candidates may substitute the possession of a Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university for the required experience. 3. Candidates may substitute the possession of a Master's degree from an accredited college or university for the required experience. 4. Candidates may substitute U.S. Armed Forces military service experience as a commissioned officer involving staff work related to the administration of rules, regulations, policy, procedures and processes, or overseeing or coordinating unit operations or functioning as a staff assistant to a higher ranking commissioned officer on a year-for- year basis for the required experience.

DESIRED OR PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

The desired candidate should possess the following: Ability to operationalize executive strategy into measurable work plans with proven success leading cross-functional initiatives in complex organizations Experience designing governance structures, dashboards, or executive tracking systems with advanced written and verbal executive communication skills Experience in healthcare, behavioral health, public sector, or regulated environments with high organizational intelligence and strong project management, risk mitigation capability and ability to operate independently with minimal supervision Master's degree in Healthcare Administration, Public Health, or a related field Progressive leadership experience in hospital or healthcare system administration Experience working in high-pressure, complex environments with diverse stakeholders

LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS AND CERTIFICATIONS

Employees in this classification may be assigned duties which require the operation of a motor vehicle. Employees assigned such duties will be required to possess a motor vehicle operator's license valid in the State of Maryland.
