The NMBHI Residential treatment program will provide inpatient services for individuals that struggle with substance abuse and mental health disorders. Our program will offer Inpatient Detox services for clients seeking residential treatment. Our team will offer anti-craving medication assistance options and will encourage MOUD during treatment and post discharge. The residential treatment clinical team will focus on developing healthy coping skills and identifying behaviors that promote substance use, in effort to develop a relapse prevention plan and discharge plan. Clients will participate in supervised structured recreational activities followed by a mix of individual and group counseling.

To provide clinical oversight, guidance, and leadership to a team of licensed behavioral health therapists serving adult patients in an inpatient setting. The clinical director ensures that therapeutic services are delivered with quality, consistency, and compassion, in alignment with established standards, licensure regulations, and trauma-informed are principles.

How does it get done?

 
The Clinical Director will lead a team of therapists/clinicians who complete assessments according to ASAM for appropriate placement, managing individual counseling, and group counseling activities.
Monitor and evaluate clinical performance, provide regular feedback, and conduct formal performance evaluations.
Ensure compliance with clinical documentation standards and licensure requirements.
Offer clinical consultation and support in managing complex cases or crisis situations.

Our purpose for establishing this program is to serve individuals that struggle with substance abuse near San Miguel, Mora, and Guadalupe Counties. All residents and visitors of NM are welcome to inquire for substance abuse treatment.

Minimum Qualification

 
Licensure in New Mexico as an LISW, LCSW, LMFT, LPCC, or LPAT and three (3) years of experience as it pertains to the essential duties and responsibilities of the classification. Any combination of education from an accredited college or university in a related field above licensure requirements and/or direct experience in this occupation totaling three (3) years may substitute for the required experience.

2.CRIMINAL RECORDS BACKGROUND CHECK-Must successfully complete post offer pre-employment criminal records background check. Employment is conditional pending the results of criminal records background checks. Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license. Successful completion of the Health Insurance Portability & Accountability Act (HIPAA).

Working Conditions

 
The position will work in an office setting with exposure to Visual Video Display Terminal, personal computer, Microsoft Teams, Email, and phone usage. The work is in an adult residential treatment center with detox patients and residential clients that struggle with mental health illness and could present with unpredictable behavior.
