Dietitian/Nutritionist 1

Requirements

Under supervision, plans and conducts service to nutritional programs to assist in the promotion of health and control of disease.  Provides nutritional assessment, education and counseling to individuals, groups, or the public in the WIC Program as assigned.  Serves as a resource on nutrition and dietetics to nurses, health educators, or healthcare providers in health departments and/or facilities.  Some travel will be required.

Qualifications

Dietitian/Nutritionist Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in dietetics, human nutrition, foods and nutrition or nutrition education, food systems management or a closely related field form an accredited college or university AND verification statement of completion of a didactic program accredited by The Academy of Nutrition & Dietetics.
PH Registered Nurse:
Associates degree in nursing from an accredited college or university and one (1) year of nursing experience and completion of a PHN course within one year of hire and current Georgia Registered Nurse license and CPR certification; or one (1) year of experience at a lower level PH Registered Nurse 1 (HCP190 or position equivalent.  Salary will be based on qualifications.
