Hall County Women, Infants & Children's (WIC) Department is seeking a Customer Service RepresentativeAs a Customer Service Representative with Hall County Health at the Georgia Department of Public Health - District 2, you will join a dedicated group of public health professionals that help support the overall mission and vision of protecting lives of Georgian residents in a variety of ways.

Benefits:

40-hour work week (Monday – Friday), 13 paid holidays/yr., 3 weeks each of annual & sick leave/yr., a defined benefit retirement plan including a 401(K) plan with a matching employer contribution, health and payroll deductible flexible benefits including employee, spouse and child life, AD&D, dental, vision, legal, long term care, short and long-term disability and specified illness options are available.  Also, medical/childcare spending accounts can be established in addition to deferred compensation – 457.

Requirements

Customer Service Representative 2:

Under general supervision, works and communicates with the general public, internal customers and/or external customers to provide information and services targeted to meet customer expectations. May resolve complicated issues involving customer service and/or researches governing policies, procedures or laws to respond to clients or visitors.

Customer Service Representative 3:

Under broad supervision, works and communicates with the general public, internal customers and/or external customers to provide information and recommendations targeted to meet customer expectations. Resolves complicated issues involving customer service and/or researches governing policies, procedures or laws to respond to clients or visitors.

General List of Job Duties:

Completing participants intake in person and over the phone, scheduling appointments, maintaining clinic flow, answering phone calls and emails, making appointment reminders, working on clinic reports, and communicating and coordinating with colleagues.

Qualifications

Customer Service Representative 2
High school diploma/GED and two (2) years of experience communicating information in a customer service setting; or one (1) year of experience required at the lower level Customer Svc Rep 1 (GST120) or position equivalent.
Customer Service Representative 3
High school diploma/GED and three (3) years of experience communicating information in a customer service setting; or two (2) years of experience required at the lower level Customer Svc Rep 2 (GST121).

Preferred Qualification:
To be able to speak, read and write Spanish.
Current State employees are subject to State Personnel Board rules regarding salary.

DPH accepts educational credential recognized by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA) and/or the US Department of Education (DOE) will be considered. DPH will contact educational institutions to verify degree, diploma, licensure, etc.
