Make a meaningful difference in the community with the Office for Citizens with Developmental Disabilities (OCDD). We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Community Service Professional 3 to join our team and deliver high-quality care to individuals with developmental disabilities and complex medical needs.

Requirements

Six years of experience in providing health or developmentally disabled services, counseling, health care management, or social services; OR

Six years of full-time work experience plus three years of experience in providing health or developmentally disabled services, counseling, health care management, or social services; OR

A bachelor's degree plus three years of experience in providing health or developmentally disabled services, counseling, health care management, or social services; OR

An advanced degree in a social sciences field, nursing, public health; public, hospital, or health administration; speech-language pathology or communication sciences and disorders; physical, occupational, recreational, or music therapy plus two years of experience in providing health or developmentally disabled services, counseling, health care management, or social services.

EXPERIENCE SUBSTITUTION:
Every 30 semester hours earned from an accredited college or university will be credited as one year of experience towards the six years of full-time work experience in any field. The maximum substitution allowed is 120 semester hours which substitutes for a maximum of four years of experience in any field.

  • Provides Technical Assistance and Training related to person-centered and wellness practices 
  • Performs duties as a member of the Transition Technical Support Team 
  • Conducts surveys with a focus on services and facilities
