Requirements

A master’s degree in a social science, health or human services, nursing, or health administration field plus three years of experience providing behavioral health treatment; OR

A doctorate in a social science, health or human services, nursing, or health administration field, or a medical degree plus two years of experience providing behavioral health treatment.

Job Duties:

As a Behavioral Health Program Director A, the incumbent will:

  • Monitor, assess, and develop clinical core competencies, training, and orientation by clinical supervision and oversee all clinicians providing direct treatment services. 
  • Provide formal clinical supervision to interns,  counselors, and master-level clinicians. 
  • Deliver expert and specialized clinical services, as a licensed clinician, to clients with behavioral health issues. 

Position-Specific Details:
Location: This position is at SCLHSA's Lafourche Behavioral Health Center in Raceland, LA. 
Appointment Type: Probationary Appointment
Compensation: The actual starting salary depends on the selected applicant's education and experience.
