Our agency is seeking a Behavioral Health Clinic Manager for the Rosenblum Behavioral Health Clinic located in Hammond, LA. Requirements
A master’s degree in a social science, health or human services, or health administration field plus four years of experience in health services, social services, nursing, or counseling; ORA doctorate in a social science, health or human services, or health administration field, or a medical degree plus three years of experience in health services, social services, nursing, or counseling.
Qualifications
- Works in collaboration with an interdisciplinary team to ensure quality care is provided and works to reduce the stigma surrounding behavioral health (mental health or substance use) treatment.
- Directs, plans, and implements internal programs serving the outpatient needs of the community and ensures collaboration and coordination of services with other agencies.
- Administers, manages, and directs the total operations and activities for an outpatient clinic, establishing goals, objectives, and priorities for the clinic.
- Develops, reviews, and presents statistical reports relating to clinic activities, goals, objectives, and outcome.
- Executes and analyzes reports monthly in the electronic health record to identify problem areas, address issues, and determine needs for operations and quick access to service those who seek services.
- Participates in the development of policies and procedures as needed and ensures compliance with established agency policies and procedures.
- Provides direct supervision to the clinical supervisory staff in the clinic, as well as the administrative support lead. Supervision encompasses clinical oversight, as well as management of basic day-to-day tasks and operations.
- Will conduct general staff meetings to discuss operational factors, billing, safety, and other issues regarding the clinic.
- Interprets, implements, and monitors agency policy and provides consultation to clinical staff regarding complex cases.
Position-Specific Details:
Appointment Type: Probational Appointment. Applicants may be asked to service a probationary period that may be anywhere between 6 months and 24 months.
Compensation: Salary may be negotiable depending on the chosen applicant's level of experience. Below is the pay range for the position:
- Behavioral Health Center Manger B: $32.21/hour minimum - $58.05/hour maximum
Location: Rosenblum Behavioral Health Clinic in Hammond, Louisiana
