The mission of Pinecrest Supports and Services Center is to support people with intellectual and developmental disabilities to reach treatment goals and to return to more integrated community living settings. Pinecrest Supports and Services Center specializes in the treatment of people with comorbid intellectual and developmental disabilities and complex medical, behavioral, and psychiatric support needs.

Pinecrest Supports & Services Center is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Associate 4 to a Psychologist to join our dynamic healthcare team.

Requirements

A master's degree in psychology followed by four years of experience in psychological testing; psychological research; or the design and implementation of behavioral management plans; OR

Thirty semester hours of graduate-level training in psychology earned after completing a master's degree in psychology plus three years of experience in psychological testing; psychological research; or the design and implementation of behavioral management plans; or

A doctorate degree in psychology plus one year of experience in psychological testing; psychological research; or the design and implementation of behavioral management plans.

  • Designs individual behavior programs, including a clear description of the behavior, goals, and objectives of the program, appropriate historical information including functions of behavior derived from functional analysis, reasons for selection of procedures based on functional analysis, any needed equipment or materials, preventive strategies, intervention strategies, data collection procedures, evaluation procedures, evaluation process including reviews, success criterion and procedures for change, and recommendations for maintenance of effects.
  • Program documentation includes documentation of informed consent, documentation of reviews by the IDT, and Human Rights Committee.
  • Instructs staff involved with individuals for whom interventions strategies are proposed in carrying out procedures and recording of results and consult with staff.
  • Provides needed materials for implementation of programs including data keeping forms, charts, etc.
  • Provides individual and group sessions as determined by the supervising Psychologist.
  • Monitors effects of interventions via Performance Probes as defined in ISP by making on-site observations of individuals and recording results of observation (reliability checks).
  • Monitors training objectives through support folder documentation forms.
  • Makes changes in programs and provides professional and technical support to direct care and other staff by frequent visits to individual’s homes.

Position is located with PINECREST SUPPORTS & SERVICES CENTER.

Location: 340 LDH Psychology

SHIFT: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM PASS DAYS: Saturday / Sunday

Appointment Type: This position may be filled by Detail, Probation, Promotion, Demotion, or Lateral Transfer. 

Compensation:

  • This Team Leader position receives premium pay of $ 5.00 per hour.
  • Associate 4 to a Psychologist: $ $24.57 - $44.28
