ADMINISTRATIVE PROGRAM SPECIALIST A



The mission of Pinecrest Supports and Services Center is to support people with intellectual and developmental disabilities to reach treatment goals and to return to more integrated community living settings. Pinecrest Supports and Services Center specializes in the treatment of people with comorbid intellectual and developmental disabilities and complex medical, behavioral, and psychiatric support needs.

Pinecrest Supports & Services Center (PSSC) is seeking a dedicated Administrative Program Specialist A to join our dynamic team.

Requirements

Three years of experience in administrative services; OR

Six years of full-time work experience in any field; OR

A bachelor's degree.

EXPERIENCE SUBSTITUTION:
Every 30 semester hours earned from an accredited college or university will be credited as one year of experience towards the six years of full-time work experience in any field. The maximum substitution allowed is 120 semester hours which substitutes for a maximum of four years of experience in any field.

  • Provides support functions to staff developmental personnel, and to other facility staff at all levels in areas of Title XIX, licensing, accreditation, state sanitary code, Standards of Payment, peer review and similar requirements.
  • Assists in enforcing corrective actions to deficient program areas identified through internal, external or direct monitoring efforts by implementation of those corrective actions to ensure continuity of services and that people are safe.
  • Conducts mock surveys of client and facility programs to ascertain the level of compliance with the differing sets of regulations noted above.
  • Assists with specialized projects related to agency compliance with regulations and other internal and external requirements.
  • Completes other assignments as required for the smooth functioning of the program, department and facility.

Position-Specific Details:
Location:  Pinecrest Supports and Services Center - LDH Quality Management
Appointment Type:  This position may be filled by Probation, Promotion, Demotion, Lateral Transfer or Detail to Special Duty.  
Shift:  8:00 AM - 4:30 PM           Pass Days:  Saturday and Sunday
Compensation: Administrative Program Specialist:  $18.04 hourly - $35.40 hourly
