Requirements

Three years of experience in administrative services.

EXPERIENCE SUBSTITUTION:
Every 15 semester hours earned from an accredited college or university will be credited as six months of experience.

·  Initiates and processes personnel actions including appointments, promotions, transfers, retirements, resignations, merit increases, insurance enrollments, and related personnel transactions in accordance with applicable policies and procedures. 

·  Maintains accurate and timely personnel records, employee documentation, evaluations, travel authorizations, and system access requests for agency staff. 

·  Coordinates recruitment and onboarding activities by screening applications, scheduling interviews, conducting reference checks, preparing hiring documentation, and orienting new employees. 

·  Serves as liaison with the Office of Group Benefits, insurance representatives, building management, janitorial services, and other support entities to address employee and operational needs. 

·  Conducts workplace safety audits, prepares quarterly safety reports, identifies unsafe conditions, and assists supervisors with accident prevention and occupational safety training initiatives. 

·  Monitors, reconciles, and maintains office budget records and expenditures while preparing budget variance reports and identifying potential budget concerns for management review. 

·  Initiates work orders, coordinates office equipment or facility-related changes, and supports daily administrative operations to ensure efficient office functionality and compliance.
