Join a fast-paced, service-driven team as an Administrative Coordinator 4, where you’ll play a vital role as the front line of support for Medicaid members across the state. In this position, you’ll ensure timely and accurate processing of critical correspondence, assist individuals in navigating services, and help maintain essential case information that directly impacts access to care. This role offers the opportunity to build expertise in statewide systems, collaborate with a dedicated team, and make a meaningful difference by supporting efficient and responsive public service delivery.

Requirements

Three years of experience in administrative services.

EXPERIENCE SUBSTITUTION:
Every 15 semester hours earned from an accredited college or university will be credited as six months of experience.

·  Serves as front line support to the public by providing accurate information and assistance regarding Medicaid programs and services

·  Processes statewide correspondence, including receiving, sorting, stamping, scanning, filing, and proper disposal of mail and electronic documents

·  Completes timely and accurate case updates and detailed case notes in LaMEDS following correspondence review

·  Generates and distributes applications, forms, and Medicaid provider payment documentation as requested

·  Proposes case actions such as closures based on notifications (e.g., deceased or unable to locate) in accordance with policy

·  Uploads, indexes, and maintains documents within the Electronic Data Management System (EDMS)

·  Assists members with completing self-service portal change reports within LaMEDS

·  Responds to inquiries in person, by phone, and via email regarding policies, eligibility, case status, and application or renewal processes

·  Supports the Customer Service Unit during high call volumes and participates in outbound calling initiatives as needed

·  Operates and maintains office technology, including computers, printers, copiers, scanners, and fax machines, and provides support to Medicaid analysts as directed
