Requirements

Three years of experience in administrative services.

EXPERIENCE SUBSTITUTION:
Every 15 semester hours earned from an accredited college or university will be credited as six months of experience.

  • Serving as a confidential assistant to the Economic Stability Manager Responding to agency and individual inquiries regarding SNAP policies and procedures.
  • Handling telephone inquiries, screening calls, routing requests, and managing correspondence. Preparing, composing, reviewing, proofreading, and editing official correspondence, handouts, reports, and meeting materials.
  • Maintaining calendars, schedules, shared directories, and pending files.
  • Receiving, distributing, and preparing incoming and outgoing mail.
  • Coordinating logistics for meetings, workshops, and conference calls, and preparing agendas, materials, and binders.
  • Creating and maintaining comprehensive office filing systems for the unit.
  • Serving as liaison with Telecommunications for repairs, additions, and resolving equipment or billing issues.
  • Acting as Property Control Manager, maintaining inventory records.
