Regional Health Administrator - HIV/STI/HCV Program

• Supervise ten program managers; run team leaders' meetings.

• Plan and facilitate all staff meetings; make section policy decisions; communicate policy decisions.
• Approve Medicaid Match; approvals in PeopleSoft, NEOGOV and EBS Budget Management.
• Work closely with Fiscal Managers; overall budget decision making; liaison to funders including DOH, MIDD, City HSD.

• Responsible for hiring, supervision, training and evaluating staff. 
• Liaison to Prevention Leadership Team, Overdose Response, Governmental Affairs, Sexual Health Clinic and other internal and external partners 
• Policy Lead for Harm Reduction and Education Chair various internal and external meetings

• Five (5) years' experience managing large public health programs 
• Extensive knowledge of HIV, STI and Hepatitis C prevention and care interventions 
• Three (3) years supervision/leadership experience
• Demonstrated ability to incorporate principles of equity and social justice into program activities to identify and recommend actions to address health disparities.  
• Experience managing federal and state grants
• Excellent writing skills 
• Effective oral communication skills Leadership skills 

• Master's in Public Health or related field

Work Schedule

This position is Monday-Friday, 8:00-5:00 with some additional nights and weekends as needed. This position is FLSA exempt and not eligible for overtime. 

Work Location

This position is located at the Chinook Building, 401 5th Ave, Seattle, WA 98104. 

Some of the work associated with this position will be performed through teleworking and will report to office location and to meetings as needed. Travel to other work locations may be necessary. Employees will have access to shared workspaces at various King County facilities. Employees must reside in Washington state and within a reasonable distance to their King County worksite to respond to workplace reporting requirements. 

Employees will be provided with a County issued laptop and must maintain a workspace with an internet connection where they can reliably perform work and remain available and responsive during scheduled work hours.  To support employees during this time King County has a robust collection of tools and resources to support working remotely.
