LPN I or LPN II

The agency is seeking a highly qualified candidate for the position of LPN I or LPN II for our Columbia County Health Department.

Requirements
Under supervision, administer immunizations according to Nurse protocols N/A and established procedures; assist with the annual immunization audits in the local school and day care centers for compliance with state immunization laws. Responsible for maintaining immunization inventory control and vaccination outreach. Assist in meeting the emergency responsibilities of the department. Participate in exercises to assess emergency preparedness status and plan for response. Perform TB screenings and administer PPD skin test, in clinic and outreach events as needed.
Qualifications
Vocational/Technical degree from an accredited college AND two (2) year of LPN public health experience (for LPN II) AND current Georgia Licensed Practical Nurse license AND CPR certification.

DPH accepts educational credential recognized by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA) and/or the US Department of Education (DOE) will be considered. DPH will contact educational institutions to verify degree, diploma, licensure, etc.
