Primary Purpose of Position: The primary purpose of this position is to provide general dentistry treatment; policy development for public health dental issues; public health education/promotion of dental topics; and to help with access to dental treatment. Primary focus of work will be providing preventive dental services within the Dental Office with preplanned community outreach to schools, senior centers, or other community locations through the use of a portable clinic with the potential to serve our full district (Alleghany, Ashe, and Watauga Counties).
Requirements: Licensed to practice dentistry in the State of North Carolina. Must successfully complete a preemployment drug screening and background check. In addition, required documentation of clinical competencies must be submitted to request clinical privileges. A positive, team oriented, goal-driven leader is sought to fill this critical position.
