Psychiatrist 18--J1 Waiver Accepted

Function as staff psychiatrist. Manages the care and treatment of assigned psychiatric patients in the hospital.  Participates in various PI activities. Provide consultation to other psychiatrists on difficult-to-manage patients.  Function as a member of the medical team and and carry out the activities of assigned hospital and departmental committees. This is a Drug and Alcohol tested (DART) position under the criteria provided in the collective bargaining unit agreement.

Requirements

Education
Possession of a medical degree from an accredited school of medicine.
Completion of a psychiatric residency program and one year of experience as a psychiatrist in a mental health, clinic, program, or correctional facility.
Experience

Psychiatrist 18
Completion of a psychiatric residency program and one year of experience as a psychiatrist in a mental health, clinic, program, or correctional facility.

Possession of a medical degree from an accredited school of medicine.
Include a copy of license to practice medicine or osteopathic medicine and surgery in Michigan.
