The agency is seeking a highly qualified candidate for the position of PH Registered Nurse 3 (BCCP Case Manager) within the Fulton County Board of Health in Nursing Administration.
Locations: Adamsville, North Fulton, and Neighborhood UnionThis is temporary or hourly paid work performing professional health care services. Positions in this job are established for less than 9 months or scheduled for less than 30 hours per week and are not eligible for benefits if the position status is temporary (i.e., SCOA 513). Positions in this job are established for greater than 9 months and scheduled for greater than 30 hours per week if the position status is permanent labor (i.e., SCOA 512). Normally permanent labor positions are eligible for Health Insurance benefits.
Requirements
Under broad supervision, provides professional nursing care in accordance with nurse protocols, policies, and/or procedures. Focuses on the prevention of illness, injury, or
disability, the promotion of health, and the maintenance of the health of populations. Cares for populations with special needs during disasters/emergencies and biological and
chemical protocols.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Nursing from an accredited college or university AND One year of PHN experience AND Current Georgia license to practice as a Registered Professional Nurse AND CPR certification OR Associate's degree/diploma in Nursing from an accredited college AND Two years of RN experience AND Completion of a PHN course within one year of hire AND Current Georgia Registered Professional Nurse license AND CPR certification. Employment InformationCurrent State employees are subject to State Personnel Board rules regarding salary.
Fulton County Board of Health accepts educational credentials recognized by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA) and/or the US Department of Education (DOE) will be considered. Fulton County Board of Health will contact educational institutions to verify degree, diploma, licensure, etc.
The candidate selected for this position will be subject to pre-employment drug screening and a criminal background check/fingerprinting and reference checks.

Functional Reasoning: Requires the ability to apply principles of logical or synthesis functions; deal with concrete and abstract variables; and analyze major problems that require complex planning for interrelated activities that can span one or several work units.
Situational Reasoning: Requires the ability to exercise judgment, decisiveness, and creativity in critical and/or unexpected situations involving moderate risk to the organization.
