This key position is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our dental practice, ensuring smooth workflow, exceptional patient care, and efficient administrative processes. The office manager must be able to be adaptable to change and juggle multiple priorities. With exceptional poise and professionalism under pressure. Major Duties and Responsibilities • Manage the overall operations of the dentist's office, including staff scheduling, patient flow, and resource allocation. • Implement and maintain efficient administrative systems and procedures, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and protocols. • Supervise and provide leadership to office staff, including training, performance evaluation, and fostering a positive work environment. • Coordinate and oversee patient scheduling, ensuring optimal use of available appointment slots and managing any scheduling conflicts or emergencies. • Maintain accurate policies and procedures for up-to-date patient record keeping, including medical histories, treatment plans, and insurance information. • Collaborate with dental professionals and staff to ensure smooth patient care, effective treatment planning, and timely follow-up. • Monitor and manage the office budget, including tracking expenses, analyzing financial reports, and implementing cost-saving measures. • Handle patient inquiries, complaints, and issues promptly and professionally, ensuring exceptional customer service. • Manage inventory and ordering of office supplies, dental materials, and equipment, while maintaining cost-effective inventory levels. • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, regulations, and best practices in dentistry and office management.
Minimum Education & Experience Graduation from a four-year college or university and one year of experience in personnel, budgeting, research or administrative management; or an equivalent combination of training and experience.
