Nature of Work

The Ryan White Part B Aids Drug Assistant Program Manager will be responsible for the development and implementation of, as well as direct oversight to, the statewide AIDS Drug Assistance Program. This position will coordinate and lead the daily operations of the program, including grant management and activities, and will work to ensure successful implementation, fiscal management, and federal and state guideline compliance. They will serve as a subject matter expert and perform other responsibilities associated with the program. This position will collaborate and work with other programs and agencies such as the Bureau for Medical Services, HIV Surveillance Linkage to Care, and will serve as the point of contact for subrecipients related to the program. Candidates should have familiarity with language related to pharmaceuticals for treatment and clinical knowledge of the disease.

Minimum Qualifications

Training: Bachelor's Degree from a regionally accredited four-year college or university.

Substitution: Additional experience as described below may be substituted for the required training on a year-for-year basis.

Experience: Four years full-time, equivalent part-time paid or volunteer experience in a technical or program area that is related to the area of employment.
Substitution: Post-graduate education in a field related to the technical or program area may be substituted for the required experience on the basis of fifteen semester hours for one year of experience.


Other Information


Three (3) years of full-time or equivalent part-time paid experience in the Health and Human Resources series may substitute for the required training and experience.
