What You Will Be Doing:
As the Community Care Licensing Specialist 2, you will be responsible for the supervision of a team of childcare licensing specialists who maintain a workload of licensed childcare facilities statewide, including conducting on-site inspections and investigations to determine compliance with the State of Alaska Child Care Licensing Statutes, Regulations, and Policies and Procedures. In this role, you will apply child care licensing requirements knowledge to providers, partner agency members, and the general public. You will be responsible for reviewing, approving, and issuing Reports of Inspection, Reports of Investigation, Notices of Violation, Enforcement Actions, and ensuring the childcare facility is in full compliance before the issuance of a Child Care License

The Community Care Licensing Specialist 2 position will be in the Anchorage Child Care Program Office. This position includes office and field work, including travel within the state.
